Two real repricings on 19 September; the four bigger moves were parser mistakes
Correction, 20 September: the note first published for this day led with "Mineral Intel doubles its Pro plan". It did not. A check of the raw pricing-page text on 18 and 19 September shows the page only added the caption "≈55% off list ($56.25 value)" next to an unchanged $25 plan, and our parser read the caption as the price. The same check found three more phantom moves: sync_vault (a crossed-out $99 list price glued to the unchanged $59), Trelium (its yearly-billing switch rendered by default, so every plan read exactly 10% lower) and Deerdawn (ambiguous; held). Those observations have been reversed and the index re-published.
What genuinely changed on 19 September: hypd_ai_ads cut its Starter plan from $22.99 to $19.99 a month (about −13%), and agentcentral cut its Business tier from $199 to $159 a month (about −20%), with the yearly price moving from $1,990 to $1,590 to match. Both are visible on the providers’ own pricing pages.
The index barely noticed either way. The Agent Economy Price Index closed the 19 September observation at 100.366 on 7,347 like-for-like pairs, up 0.21% over 30 days. Two cuts among more than seven thousand priced plans do not move a median-based index, which is the point: most listings do not reprice on any given day.
The parser now treats struck list values, glued strikethroughs and billing switches as non-prices, with a replay test on these three pages, and published repricings are audited against the page text before a note is written.
Generated from the day’s verified price scans (2 clean repricings, 7,347 like-for-like pairs — figures are from the release published at generation time; later releases for the same day can carry different pair counts). An index level, not investment advice. Live data at agentery.com/aepi.
