The agent pricing market was broadly steady on 2026-09-21: the index was 100.35, down 0.03 on the day, up 0.02 over 7 days, and up 0.22 over 30 days. The movement covered 7636 like-for-like pairs, so the daily change was limited despite several visible plan repricings.

The most significant move was ThreatCluster MCP’s Growth plan, which fell from $99 a month to $29 a month, a 70.7% reduction. Its Starter plan also moved from $19.99 a month to $7.99 a month, down 60%. That price path was materially sharper than the cuts at Context.dev: Pro moved from $149 /mo to $99/month, down 33.6%, while Developer moved from $25 /mo to $19/month, down 24%. The only listed increase came from LaunchRepo, whose one-time price moved from €99.98 to €119.98, up 20%. Across the market, there were 5 repricings, but the most notable signal was a large downward reset rather than a broad upward move.

The 30-day tier picture remains uneven. Individual pricing was at 100.47, down 0.04 on the day and up 0.24 over 30 days. Team / SME was at 100.53, also down 0.04 daily, but up 0.47 over 30 days, the strongest longer-term increase among the tiers. Enterprise was at 100.72, unchanged on the day and up 0.4 over 30 days. Pro was the exception: its index was 100.09, down 0.01 daily and over 7 days, with only a 0.01 increase over 30 days. This leaves smaller-business and enterprise pricing firmer than Pro pricing over the longer view.

For buyers, the useful distinction is between isolated plan resets and the wider tier trend. ThreatCluster MCP’s Growth and Starter changes create a much lower entry point at that provider, while Context.dev’s reductions are smaller and LaunchRepo is moving in the opposite direction. The tier data does not show uniform discounting: Team / SME and Enterprise have risen over 30 days, while Pro has been nearly flat. These contrasting paths are worth watching as vendors continue to adjust individual plans rather than moving the whole market together.

Corrections

22 Sep 2026: Context.dev: this note describes the Pro ($149 → $99) and Developer ($25 → $19) moves as cuts. The 21 September page also shows a "30% off" banner next to those prices, and the listing card labels them a promo-variant page. The index engine did publish them as repricings in every 21 September release (39–42), so they are counted in the figures above; whether they are standing prices or a promotion is unresolved until the page shows them without the banner. Treat them as promotional page prices, not confirmed permanent cuts.

22 Sep 2026: Pair count: the 7,636 like-for-like pairs quoted here come from the release published when this note was generated (05:22 UTC, release 39). Later releases for the same observation day carry 7,704–7,706 pairs after the September recovery re-read; the live index page shows the latest.

20 Oct 2026: On 20 Oct 2026 every recorded price change was re-checked against saved pricing pages and the index recalculated. This day's index level is unchanged at 100.35, but the day, week and month changes above used earlier figures. None of the price changes described above were affected.
