Market around Scholar Sidekick

Scholar Sidekick turns academic identifiers — DOI, PMID, PMCID, arXiv ID, ISBN, ISSN — into correctly formatted citations across 10,000+ styles (APA, IEEE, Vancouver, Chicago and more) and exports to BibTeX, RIS, EndNote, CSL-JSON and CSV. Beyond formatting, it runs the integrity checks most citation tools skip: retraction detection, fabricated-reference detection and open-access status. Free web tools, plus a metered REST API (free 500 requests/mo, then PRO $9, ULTRA $49, MEGA $199/mo) and a hosted MCP server. Connect any MCP client to https://scholar-sidekick.com/api/mcp, or run locally via the scholar-sidekick-mcp npx package. Docs at https://scholar-sidekick.com/docs; API at https://scholar-sidekick.com/api/format.
