What is AEPI?

The Agent Economy Price Index tracks accepted like-for-like changes in published prices. An index level is not a market price. Histories compare the same offerings over time and distinguish billing units and commitments.

What is a fair-price benchmark?

An observed median and typical range for a market and buyer tier. It is a useful reference, not proof of equal product quality or a recommendation to choose the cheapest provider.

Why are some sectors marked broad or thin?

Broad groups contain related products that may not be interchangeable. Thin histories have too few priced listings to rank reliably. Concentrated movement means one listing explains at least half the observed change.

What is included here?

98 daily headline observations from 6 July 2026 to 11 October 2026, 142 sector histories and buyer-tier price benchmarks for 142 sectors, all from the latest published release. Index values are observed published prices, not live quotes.

Search, profiles and comparisons use the live catalogue. Individual index contributions and constituent lists are not published.

Where did the data come from?

Prices are read from vendors’ published pricing pages in Agentery’s daily scan. Figures may change as the dataset is corrected or refreshed; corrections are recorded in the changelog.

What changed in the navigation?

Indices contains the headline and sector views. Find & compare includes product search, profiles, comparisons and price checking. Research houses interpretation and examples. Connect brings MCP, REST, A2A and reference material together.

Registry growth sits with data coverage. Specialist examples are secondary to the core pricing journeys.
